Custom Quilts Quilting Services
Do you love to make your quilt tops but don't like to finish them, or don't know how to finish them? Well, we are here to help you. Bring them or mail them to me and I'll get them finished for you. I do a wide range of quilting techniques from stitch in the ditch to pantographs to customized quilting. Bring in your tops and we'll talk about what you want done and get it done for you. Let us make those beautiful tops usable or get them ready for gift giving.
Here are some guide lines for bringing or mailing your tops in.
-Make sure the backing is at least 4 to 6 inches bigger then the front. Remember that your quilt top will grow a little when it is put on the machine and some tension is added. If you don't have a back, don't worry, we can take care of that. It the back is way bigger, thats alright too. Too much is better then not enough.
-Make sure your batting is bigger then the top also. If it is exact, you will be short when the quilt is done. If you don't have batting, not a problem. We care a full line of Quilter's Dream Batting including different weights in cottons and needle punched polyester. Don't know what you want? Just ask and we'll show you some samples and guide you in the right direction. We also carry a 5oz polyester high loft batting for those of you who would like the comforter, puffy look.
- Make sure your top doesn't look like it just came out of the hamper. It doesn't have to be super starched but a good pressing will ensure the quilting looks good. When it is put on the frame, the little wrinkles will pull out but not heavy wrinkles. Make sure it is clean and as thread clean as possible. I know you can't always get all the threads off but the majority will help and give it a much cleaner quilted look.

Any quilt needing to be done in less then four weeks is subject to a rush fee of $25.00
Special designs that take special consideration, are subject to additional fees.
These prices are for the quilting alone and does not include any fabric or batting costs in them.
Know that you have it quilted, what do you do? If you don't want to bind it, we can do that too. We have two choices for binding. You can have a traditional hand binding or you can have a machine binding. A traditional hand binding is when you use the fabric of your choice and we make the binding, sew it on the front of the quilt, wrap it around and hand sew it on the back. A machine binding uses pre-rolled rolls of binding and it gets sewn on and has a package binding look. We have lots of color to choose from, so finding one to enhance your quilt won't be a problem.
Prices for Binding:
Hand Bindings are $50.00 for King sizes and $40.00 for everything else. This price does not include fabric prices.
Machine Bindings are $25.00 for all sizes.
